Some may not know the story behind our son Andy. Andy was born with Distal Trisomy 15q, which is an extremely rare chromosomal disorder in which the end (distal) portion of the long arm (q) of the 15th chromosome (15q) appears three times (trisomy) rather than twice in cells of the body.
Andy has undergone so many operations, been in the hospital more times than we can even count, and has been Life-Flighted from Evansville to the Indianapolis Riley's Children's Hospital. Doctors had given Andy 4-6 months to live, but our God had other plans for this little guy.
Today Andy celebrates his 6th birthday and again today we say "Thank You" to God for keeping his healing hand of protection on Andy, and "Thank You" to all those that have been there with your prayers and support. All who know him know Andy is an amazing little guy. He captures the hearts of everyone, his smiles and laughter's will brighten any day.

Happy Birthday, late, I just found you, but had to comment on the Mountain Dew in the feeding thingy. I LOVED IT. Always love to be reminded that even serious matters do not have to be taken so seriously. Love that you get to experience a miracle.
