The last few weeks have been busy trying to help out our church with its new ministry building prepare for opening. These ministries are an outreach to our community. We have a clothing bank, an infant area for diapers, etc., a clinic that does ultrasounds and parenting classes, as well as a nice sized food bank. Tomorrow is opening day at our new facility and a great many hands have come together to make it possible to help ensure it's opening is successful. I am so blessed to belong to a church that desires to help out the community in a great way.
So I haven't been neglecting our blog, I just used my time in a more useful way.
Anyway, our holiday weekend was spent at home dealing with a stomach virus. Unfortunately this is our second 4th of July that we have dealt with this sickness. Fortunately for my brother and his family we stayed at home so they didn't get it (unlike last year).
We are about settled with a routine around here. Unfortunately, wrenches get thrown into the routine quite often though. Overall though, things are running peaceful in our home.
