New Year

Our New Year break was spent with my brother and his family. We had a great time with the exception that Andy had to go to the ER having severe coughing fits every night they were here. He ended up having Bronchitis and one of his lungs was border line pneumonia. He was put on an antibiotic and we were told to give him steam breathing treatments and hot showers to help break up the congestion. New Years evening I went to a wonderful Encounter service at our church. After I came home we started the festivities of goofing off together. All of my crew made it until midnight with no problems. One evening while they were down we went to the Fantasy Of Lights which is a light display that is put up every year to help fund therapy services for kids at the place where my children attend therapy. Kurt and his family really liked it as well. As part of their adoption gift Kurt and Taliaha got the kids pencils with their first and last names on them. These have been a blessing to me more often than one could ever know. Having 6 children doing school in one room there is a tendency to say "you took my pencil" and a verbal argument ensue afterward. With these nifty gifts nobody can be fighting now. My parents got to spend a lot of evenings over here with their grandkids. I know they enjoyed themselves as well.
